Ivory Coast – CREATION OF A DIPLOMATIC TRAINING PROGRAM FOR PUBLIC PROCUREMENT ACTORS

ANRMP is organizing a training workshop on the methodology for drawing up syllabuses and teaching tools for the master’s degree in public procurement.

The National Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (ANRMP) has organized a training workshop on the methodology for developing teaching materials for the Professional master’s in public Procurement (MPCP). This meeting is part of the creation of this master’s degree, which stems from the National Strategy for Capacity Building (SNRC) in the field of public procurement, adopted by the Government in 2021.

As a reminder, the creation of this master’s degree stems from the National Strategy for Capacity Building (NSCB) in the field of public procurement, adopted by the Government in 2021. This strategy provides for the creation of a Master’s-level university training program in public procurement as part of the training for public procurement players.

ANRMP is drawing on the expertise of the Polytechnic National Institute Félix HOUPHOUET-BOIGNY (INP-HB) in Yamoussoukro to design and develop the program’s teaching tools, the stages of which will be the subject of several workshops.

At the opening ceremony, Dr Moustapha TRAORE, Director of the Higher School of Commerce and Business Administration (ESCAE), representing the Director General of the National Polytechnic Institute Félix HOUPHOUET-BOIGNY (INP-HB) in Yamoussoukro, said he was honored to be able to contribute the expertise and skills of his institution to this work. Taking the floor, Mrs. BAMBA Massanfi DIOMANDE, Chairwoman of the ANRMP’s Regulatory Council, indicated the importance of this session, which will make it possible to design the best teaching tools,
for an operationalization of the actions to be carried out by the trainers.

These two days of work have made it possible to draw up syllabus trees for training geared towards active teaching and to strengthen the capacities of expert trainers in terms of designing teaching tools. This workshop is the second to be held in connection with the creation of the master’s degree in public Procurement, following the workshop held on 28 and 29 February 2024 to validate the syllabus. It will be followed by workshops to validate the training syllabus and train the expert trainers in universityteaching methodology.
