SESSION-Francophone members | Professionalization of Public Procurement-Challenges and Opportunities (English version)

A platform for public procurement professionals, the African Public Procurement Network (APPN) periodically brings together its member countries through its Technical Secretariat, which organizes high-level sessions around specific themes of general interest. On February 26, 2025 at 13:00 GMT, the Technical Secretariat mobilized French-speaking countries around the theme of “Professionalization of Public Procurement-Challenges and Opportunities”, a theme that saw the participation of 300 people, not only because of the relevance of the theme but also thanks to headline presenters such as Mr. Larbi Bennouna, CEO of SETYM International, Ms. Poulmery BA, Director of Training and Technical Support of Senegal’s Public Procurement Regulatory Authority, Mr. YAMEOGO Gaston, Director of Training and Technical Support and Ms. Rim Zehri, Controller General of Public Procurement/President of ONMP-HAICOP.

On February 26, 2025 at 13:00 GMT, the Technical Secretariat of the African Public Procurement Network (APPN) organized the second session of the year 2025 on “Professionalization of Public Procurement – Challenges and Opportunities” for the network’s French-speaking member countries and had the privilege to have Mr. Larbi Bennouna, CEO of SETYM International, who emphasized the importance of professionalization and impact assessment, with the specific case of Côte d’Ivoire, and finally invited participants to master the use of artificial intelligence in public procurement.

The Technical Secretariat of the African Public Procurement Network (APPN) held its second session of the year on February 26, 2025 at 13:00 GMT, for the benefit of the network’s French-speaking member countries. The theme that brought together the experts, including the Controller General of Public Procurement and President of ONMP-HAICOP, was “Professionalization of Public Procurement-Challenges and Opportunities”.
