Southern Africa Takes the Lead This Time
After the first series of knowledge and experience sharing sessions respectively on September 22 and September 23, 2020 for East Africa and West Africa on the same theme “Public Procurement in Emergencies: Country Experiences”, the Technical Secretariat of the African Public Procurement Network (APPN) is organizing again a series of sessions with the first starting with the Southern Africa on October 28, 2020.
Though it’s on the same theme, all the sessions have their beauty and specificity as the experiences are not the same. This time too, new experiences are going to be shared with the sole objective to find out ways and means to challenge the pandemic in return.
About three hours, countries like Botswana, Eswatini, Ghana, the Gambia, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe are together to ponder over the theme with some presentations from a keynote speaker Mr. Alistair Merrill from Scotland and member countries such as Namibia, Lesotho and Zimbabwe. Of course the Chairman of the network, Mr. Madoda Mngomezulu, the Secretary General, Mr. Aftar Touré MOROU and the Southern Africa Network’s Coordinator, Mr. Lucas KENNEKAE will be around to give the official seal to the session.
