A delegation of APPN Paying a Courtesy Visit to the Minister of Economics and Finances of Eswatini

A delegation of the APPN (Afrcian Public Procurement Network) composed of Mr. Madoda Ngomezulu, the new President-elect of the network, Mr. Aftar Touré MOROU, the Secretary General of the network and Mr. Saer NIANG, the outgoing President of the network, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Neal Rijkenburg, the minister of economics and finances of Eswatini. It was for the handover ceremony this year in February between Mr. Saer NIANG, the APPN outgoing Chairman and Mr. Madoda Mngomezulu, the APPN new Chairman-elect.

Such a visit was an opportunity for the APPN delegation to exchange with the minister on the objectives of the network and the great responsibility that his country has during its mandate as the chair country of the network. In the vein, they also talked of the organization of the second General Assembly in October 2020 in the kingdom of Eswatini.
But as a reminder, let’s bear in mind that it was decided to postpone this second General Assembly to another date because of COVID-19 with the hope that the pandemic will be over then.
