Côte d’Ivoire: The Launch of the New Website Version

The National Public Procurement Regulatory Body (ANRMP) launched on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at its headquarters the new version of its website in the presence of development partners, public procurement players from the public sector, good governance and communication institutions, the private sector and the civil society.

Designed in 2009, the first version of the National Public Procurement Regulatory Body’s website was launched on January 6, 2012. Nine years after, it has urged to modernize it in order to adapt to the new demands. This is what came out of the words of Mr. Oumar OUATTARA who explicitly said what follows: “After nine years of operation, we deemed it useful to make it modern with all the easiness to the users to browse while taking into account the demands of communication and information dissemination regarding public procurement”.

And for Mr. Yacouba COULIBALY, the Chairman of the Regulation Council, “ANRMP as a governance institution must demonstrate transparency in the publication of data, information and some significant decisions, which contribute to good governance in public procurement realm. Besides, the national press and the international one need to fetch the real information from the source”.

The new website is designed with the latest solutions to adapt to all screen sizes and to offer browsing comfort making the whole thing simple and smoother.

As innovations, we can mention two rubrics. One is dedicated to the online handling of the public procurement non-royalty discharge. It will then be possible for enterprises not only to make an online discharge request but also for contracting authorities to check the authenticity of such a document as a non-royalty discharge in the regulation of public procurement is a key document to tenders. And the other rubric offers to the users the possibility to denounce frauds or irregularities in public procurement.
