First meeting of the APPN Executive commitee

The Executive Committee of the African Public Procurement Network (APPN) held its first meeting by video conference on Thursday, 14th February 2019. This meeting allowed to discuss the draft action plan for the operationalization of the APPN issued by the Technical Secretariat temporarily provided by Togo.
This plan covers a period of three (3) years and offers concrete actions to make the Network operational. Several countries members of the network’s executive committee such as Angola, Gabon, Mali, Mauritania and the DRC took part in this meeting.
Mr Saer Niang, General Manager Director of Public procurement regulatory authority (PPRA) of Senegal in his capacity as president of ANPP, chaired the meeting. Mr. Réné Kapou, General Manager Director of Public procurement regulatory authority of Togo, as technical Secretary of the Network, assisted him.
