Ms. Blandine Wu Chebili presents her experiences on Electronic Procurement
The Technical Secretariat of the African Public Procurement Network (APPN) organized on June 30, 2021, the fourth session of knowledge and experience sharing on the theme “Electronic Public Procurement: current state, opportunities and challenges”. This session concerned the sub-regional network of Central Africa and was attended by member countries including Burundi, Central African Republic, DRC, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Madagascar and Cameroon.
On this occasion, Ms. Blandine Wu Chebili, Senior Procurement Specialist at the World Bank, was invited to make a presentation. For 20 good minutes, she presented her experiences on e-procurement (e-GP).
According to Blandine Wu Chebili, e-procurement is the use of a transactional information system by government institutions and other public sector organizations to conduct and manage their procurement activities and their relationships with suppliers for the procurement of works, goods, and consultancy services required by the public sector.
