New Public Procurement Code: 95 Budget Controllers Building on Their Knowledge

The National Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (ANRMP) and the Directorate of Public Procurement (DGMP) organized for two days from November 24, 2020 to November 25, 2020 in Grand-Bassam a capacity building session for ninety-five (95) budget controllers of the public administration.

‘’Procurement Processes, Control and Regulation by the 2019 Procurement Code” was the theme that gathered the professionals of procurement, the budget controllers, to equip them as far as efficiency in services control or performance of the state bidders is concerned.

For two days, the participants deepened their knowledge of the innovations by the new public procurement Code, namely on the functioning of the bid opening and judgment commissions (COJO), to the screening and regulation of public procurements. They also got acquainted with the simplified competition processes, the execution and the regulation of public procurements as well as the management of conflicts and sanctions out of the violations of public procurement rules; besides, they learnt about the management of procurement audits and the issues the budget controllers have on the field.
