First Edition of Professional Accreditation by SETYM International in Côte d’Ivoire

The first edition of the professional accreditation program for the actors of the procurement chain took place recently on November 8, 2021 at the training center of the National Public Procurement Regulatory Authority of Côte d’Ivoire (ANRMP).

Such program will end up on November 26, 2021. It was welcome by fifty public procurement actors from the General Directorate of Public Procurement (DGMP), the Public Procurement Cells within Ministries (CPMP), from PAGDS and ANRMP itself.

The launch of that first edition is part of a whole program that is the national strategy for capacity building in public procurement (SNRC) adopted by the Government during the Board of Ministers on September 22, 2021 and is financially supported by the project for the amelioration of governance for the delivery of fundamental services to citizens (PAGDS) with the technical support of SETYM International in charge of training and knowledge assessment of the partakers.

The official ceremony was attended by many an official including Mr. Bertin AKROU, Deputy- Coordinator of PAGDS, Mr. Larbi BENNOUNA, CEO of SETYM International and the members of the Regulation Council and the Secretariat General of ANRMP.

A serious point to consider is that the national strategy for capacity building in public procurement (SNRC) has been inspired and in accordance with the community strategy document for capacity building in public procurement (DSCRC) adopted by WAEMU Committee in 2012.
